Mary Trump deserves a ton of credit for reluctantly coming forward and helping America to take down her evil uncle Donald Trump. She exposed some of his financial secrets, she helped us understand his psychology so we could attack it, and she surely helped convince some Americans out there that her uncle needed to be voted out.
Now Donald Trump has lost the election, and despite his public insistence that he’s somehow magically going to overturn the result, that’s not a real thing. Palmer Report keeps pointing out that Trump has no leverage now that he’s lost. He’s facing prison and bankruptcy, and he’ll be very lucky if he can use the transition period to give himself a slightly softer landing on those fronts.
Mary Trump appeared on the Lawrence O’Donnell show on Monday night and summed things up perfectly. She said that Donald Trump will “never have a good day again.” She’s absolutely right. The rest of Donald’s life will consist of trying to fend off criminal charges, civil action, and financial squeezes – and there will be no one to protect him.
