Mary Trump is onto something when it comes to Ivanka Trump
Now that Allen Weisselberg has been indicted and arrested, there’s been a lot of speculation about whether he’ll flip on Donald Trump. And with Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr having rather frantically loud responses to the Trump Organization indictments, a lot of people are speculating about whether they might end up panicking and flipping on their father.
But Mary Trump, who knows the Trump family members on an obviously personal level, is now saying that Ivanka Trump might be more likely than anyone else to flip on Donald Trump. Her reasoning: she has a family with Jared Kushner that she doesn’t want to lose by getting indicted, and the Kushner family has real money, meaning she doesn’t have to worry about protecting the Trump Organization’s pretend wealth. Here’s why we think Mary is onto something.
Just a couple days after Trump’s lawyers were informed that the initial Trump Organization indictments were imminent, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner fed a story to CNN about how they were sick of Donald Trump’s crap and had distanced themselves. We’ve already flagged it as a potential hint from Ivanka to prosecutors that if they’re planning to indict her, she’s willing to throw Donald under the bus. This seems to validate Mary Trump’s expectation that Ivanka is the most likely to flip of the bunch.
