Marjorie Taylor Greene just found a whole new way to humiliate herself
Marjorie Taylor Greene continues to show of unfitness to be in Congress. Newsweek reported on her appearance at a Republican dinner in Idaho, and let’s just say it didn’t turn out too well. Close to 100 protestors gathered outside the dinner. She is a classless, clueless, unashamed racist. She should only be invited to events that want to wear their racism on their sleeves. Whether or not they know it, members of the Republican party who continue to embrace and invite her to events paint themselves with the same broad-stroked brush.
Back when she was first sworn into office, she produced a video denigrating Black and Hispanic men, claiming they are “victims of their own decisions to engage in crime.” That statement is not only inflammatory, but it is blatantly racist. Not ALL Black or Hispanic men are gang members who deal drugs or otherwise get involved in crime. That’s Greene’s viewpoint, and it’s twisted, just like her. The Daily Mail first published a clip from the video, during which Greene proclaimed: “Generations of Black and Hispanic men – do you wanna know what holds them down? Gangs. Being in gangs and dealing drugs is what holds them down.” She went on to claim that “lack of education” holds down Black and Hispanic men and that gangs control them, which is “not a white person thing.” Thugs come in all colors, and for this idiot to make such statements shows where her mind (if you can call it that) resides. She is supported by those who feel similarly, and it is patently obvious that they (including Greene) are the ones suffering from “lack of education.”
Marjorie Taylor Greene is white trash. Not all white people are trash, but she certainly fits the mold. Cupping her hands over her mouth and shouting like a gutter rat during President Biden’s State of the Union Address reveals her upbringing (or lack thereof). President Biden spoke of issues that are true. The Trump Administration did add a large amount to the deficit, and Republicans do want to cut Medicare and Social Security. Those are the facts. Acting like a high schooler doesn’t change those facts. What President Biden did succeed in doing with those statements is make Rick Scott come up with a plan to protect Social Security and Medicare. If these people must be shamed into doing the right thing, so be it. Greene’s juvenile behavior changes none of that.
She had the nerve to call the people protesting her “nasty women” with “low-T” husbands. Yeah, she should know all about low-T husbands since she felt the need to cheat on hers. Self-respecting Republicans want nothing to do with her, as Newsweek reported that the North Idaho Republicans condemned Greene’s appearance. Those Republicans proclaimed on their website: “We condemn the KCRCC’s decision to host Marjorie Taylor Green at the annual Lincoln Day event. By associating herself with white nationalists, she, and by extension, the KCRCC, dishonor this event and its namesake.” Everything about Greene is a dishonor. She is an embarrassment to Georgia, the nation, and the world.
