Marjorie Taylor Greene has a whole new scandal

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Would anyone be at all surprised that Marjorie Taylor Greene is under investigation? The answer is likely “no” given her erratic, crazy behavior, but this investigation might surprise some. Justin Gray of WSB TV in Atlanta investigated Greene’s homestead exemption in Georgia and found that Greene and her husband claimed exemptions on two homes. The law provides an exemption on the home in which you live, but you cannot live in two houses at the same time, which means you cannot claim an exemption claim on two homes. Greene has been busted, and as usual, she is angry. When WSB inquired about the inconsistency, Greene snapped: “Justin Gray should mind his own business instead of launching yet another pathetic attempt to smear me and my family.” Smearing Greene is not difficult; her behavior does that for her. Besides, Gray’s business is looking out for taxpayers, so he is minding his business. As an alleged Congresswoman, Greene should be doing Gray’s job doing of stealing from the tax rolls.

Given that she is a tax criminal, one would think that Greene might stop drawing attention to herself, but that seems impossible. Instead, she has been stalking Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez—again. An unearthed video posted by Vanity Fair shows Greene and her cohorts harassing Ocasio-Cortez through the mail slot in her door.
Accompanying Greene was Anthony Aguero, who has since been arrested for his part in the Capitol insurrection. Following the release of this video, Greene e-mailed CNN to say: “Members of Congress and all government employees are employed by the taxpayers of this country. Holding the government accountable to the people is what I’ve always believed in.” Apparently, she no longer believes that since she has bilked taxpayers. The gall of this woman is simply amazing, and Vanity Fair’s writer best describes her: “Marjorie Taylor Greene, who was sworn in as a freshman representative in January, clearly had a different sort of objective—to be declared the most unhinged, batshit-crazy member of Congress in recent history. And just four months into her first term, she’s nailed it.” At least she is good at something.

As Newsweek reported, Eric Swalwell has entered the fray. As a former prosecutor, Swalwell told Jim Acosta that he has prosecuted people on stalking charges for far less than the behavior Greene has displayed. Nancy Pelosi wants Greene investigated, and who could blame her? Greene is a gun-toting, conspiracy driven nut, and no one knows what people like Greene will do from one day to the next. She is not only an embarrassment, but she is dangerous. Since Greene does not understand common decency, we can get hit somewhere else it will hurt—her purse. WSB reported that the penalty for filing false homestead exemptions is twice the amount owed, which is estimated at $12,000. Greene claims that Gray is raising a stink over “paperwork;” however, William Perry, founder of Georgia Ethics Watchdogs, responded: “This isn’t a paperwork issue, this is fraud.” Marjorie Taylor Greene is a fraud, and she must be removed from Congress.
