We know that Donald Trump’s behavior is becoming more and more bizarre. But this weekend, he knocked it out of the park with his latest truth social posting. “Republicans eat their young!” It seems Trump has gone back to his favorite subject matter — being eaten alive.

First, it was sharks, then it was Hannibal Lecter, and now it’s republicans eating each other. I do see a pattern here. So what did our traitor mean by this? Perhaps he was referring to Don Junior eating people? I somehow don’t think so. No, it does seem apparent to me that what Trump REALLY meant to say was: “Republicans eat their own!”

That is a common expression, and for House Republicans, it actually happens to be true — at least right now, it is. So what I think happened is Donald Trump flubbed those words, as he’s flubbing just about everything lately. Let’s look at the two statements.

“Republicans eat their own!” That meaning would be that those bad, bad Republicans are disloyal to each other; they eat their own. There’s no loyalty left there. “Republicans eat their young.”

This means absolutely nothing except it was the phrase Trump chose to use. But this phrase, , like Donald Trump’s person, from the tip of his flock of seagulls’ hair to the soles of his angry insurrectionist feet, means and is absolutely nothing.

But it does show that Trump once again could not string two sentences together (or, in this case, one) and make it make sense.

Make it make sense is what Morning Joe was trying to do when he looked with baffled bewilderment at Trump’s statement about the GOP eating each other. But nobody can make it make sense because this is DONALD TRUMP we’re talking about, and nothing he says or does makes any sense whatsoever.
