Major newspaper calls on Donald Trump to drop out of race after debate
After a debate which saw President Biden struggle through a severe cold even as Donald Trump spewed lie after extremist position after lie, the New York Times pulled the asinine stunt of calling for Biden to drop out of the race. Their reasoning? We suppose they needed the extra clicks that would come with doing so.
Meanwhile, in saner realms, the Philadelphia Inquirer’s editorial board has called on Trump to drop out of the race. Their reasoning: he’s a liar and a piece of crap. Imagine if the New York Times had the integrity to have done the same, instead of disingenuously going after Biden?
In any case, it’s now becoming clear that Biden wasn’t actually hurt by his debate performance. It’s still the same race as before the debate, and we move forward with the fight. If we put in the work, Biden will win.
