Major newspaper admits the media is being dishonestly unfair to President Biden

Well, well, well. It looks like for a few members of the media, at least, they have begun to get the message. Allow me if you will to point toward an article in the Washington Post written by Dana Milbank. It is all about the coverage the media is giving President Biden.

In this piece, Milbank says the media’s coverage of Biden has been as bad as their former coverage of Trump. AND he cites specific examples. Milbank shows how even the good news is pre-packaged as bad news. “BUT, BUT, BUT.” He wonders if it is his imagination. Could it be? Nope.

Milbank seeks help from Forge.ai. They’re a data analytics firm. This firm did the work of combing through data, algorithms, and coverage of Biden at this time and Trump’s coverage the first year he was in office.

This is what Milbank says about what was found: “The findings, painstakingly assembled by FiscalNote vice President Bill Frischling, confirmed my fear: My colleagues in the media are serving as accessories to the murder of Democracy.”

The murder of democracy. Let those powerful and accurate words sink in. Milbank asks the media to be “partisans for democracy.” One would not think that would be hard to do.

And it is as Palmer Report has laid out many times. The dismal ratings have turned the media into greedy proponents of “anything goes.” Anything that sells, that is. Anything that keeps fearful eyes glued to the screen as the smiling pundits cheerfully go about showing us how the world is in its last spirals and will soon end.

Biden Chief of Staff Ron Klain evidently agrees. “Submitted for your consideration,” he told reporters, referencing the article. And several MSNBC hosts also addressed it and agreed.

So, let’s keep our activism up. If you see unfair coverage and inaccurate reporting — let them know. Turn off the garbage when it becomes painfully silly and unwatchable. It is the least we can do for a President who is hard at work at pulling the country back from the abyss.
