MAGA is running scared

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

MAGA is afraid of us. One thing that I often do before I write an article is do my research. Some pieces require just a teensy bit. Some require a lot. This is one that required a lot, in fact. I started not intending to write an article at all. But once I found myself drawn into the Dystopian world of MAGA with all the zombie-like inhabitants, an article took shape in my mind.

How could it not? I doubt everybody knows just how deeply insane this imaginary world is. But like it or not, many people exist who float in this world of their own free will, genuinely believing it is all reality.

Many in this nonsensical world believe we are coming for them. They think the democrats are setting up death camps where they will someday live.

Many of these voidless creatures believe we want to rule unencumbered by laws. They think we want to force our beliefs on them. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of them really believe this.

And they believe Covid is not real. They think we’re part of a long-standing plot to take over the world. We are, according to them, not much different than Nazis.

All over, Nazi memes are popping up, put on social media by miserable MAGA. They are convinced that Civil war is coming because we, the Democratic party, want to eliminate any opposition to our beliefs.

They think we are coming up their driveways — over to their front porches. They believe a knock on the door is only a short time away.

And when that door is opened? They believe we will take them by force. Many of them are frightened. Many of them are waiting for us as I write this.

Many of their beliefs sound — like — them. Do they not? It’s called “projection.” And although they might never own it, this is precisely what they should do because the truth is they refer to themselves and do not have the critical thinking skills even to know it.
