Donald Trump and his goons are completely lost in the weeds
Donald Trump supporters on Twitter have spent the day making up increasingly bizarre phony conspiracy theories about CIA Director Gina Haspel. Some have insisted she’s dead, while others are insisting she was arrested for “treason” and is being questioned at Guantanamo. It’s not just a few of them, either. So many Trump goons have been openly fantasizing about this nonsense, Haspel’s name ended up trending on Twitter.
The is all rather disturbing, of course. But it’s also a reminder that Trump’s remaining supporters are totally lost in the weeds. They’re not remotely focused on trying to win the Georgia Senate runoffs, which gives us an opportunity to get a leg up and take control of the Senate away from Mitch McConnell.
– Trump now claims it’s “not statistically possible” that he lost. As a reminder, this is a guy who paid someone else to take his SAT, so it’s no wonder he doesn’t understand how math works.
