Lordy, there are tapes

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Lordy, there are tapes. The January 6 committee has asked for footage. This footage comes from a filmmaker who recorded none other than Donald Trump. This recording was done right before the January 6 terrorist attack — and right after.

Alex Holder is his name, and Documentary film-making is his game. He had great access to Trump and took advantage of that access, in the form of extensive interviews. And now, the committee would like to see the raw footage of these interviews. That is why they have subpoenaed it.

The subpoena asks for footage of interviews with Mike Pence, Ivanka Trump, Jarred Kushner, Don Junior, Eric Trump, Mike Pence, and the lord of the lies himself. This is bound to anger an already mad-as-a-hatter, Trump. Good. Anything that infuriates Trump is definitely good for the rest of the country. Do you agree? And the question is — what’s on these tapes? What will they show?

It is wait-and-see time in that regard. Obviously, the January 6 committee thinks this is extremely important, or they would never have asked for it. This evidence could be very important. Who knows what Trump said in these interviews. I, for one, am very curious.

And Holder did make a statement explaining he has complied with the January 6 subpoena. Will we see these tapes? I have no idea, but it is very possible. Stay tuned. We will, I am sure, be hearing lots more about this one.
