Looks like Sidney Powell’s attorney is going to need an attorney
It’s long been joked that Donald Trump’s “MAGA” slogan actually refers to “Making Attorneys Get Attorneys.” After all, Trump has a habit of getting his attorneys in such legal trouble that they end up needing their own representation. But now Trump’s attorney’s attorney might need an attorney.
Donald Trump’s former attorney Sidney Powell’s former attorney Lawrence Joseph is now facing disciplinary measures for his alleged role in the 2020 election. That’ll be for the courts to sort out. But it’s the latest reminder that Trump and his pals aren’t really “getting away” with anything. The legal process is still playing out.
This all comes after Sidney Powell pleaded guilty in Fulton County and agreed to cooperate against Donald Trump and the other remaining co-defendants. Powell was also listed as a co-conspirator in Jack Smith’s federal criminal indictment of Donald Trump. It’s clear that Trump world is still taking it on the chin in the legal sense.
