Looks like Joe Biden agrees with me

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,

Earlier this week I said that I was growing tired of the narrative that Joe Biden was spending too much time talking about the Obama era. Biden was the second most influential person in the Obama administration, second only to Barack Obama himself. When Biden is talking about the Obama era, he’s literally talking about his own record. Of course he should be talking about it.

It turns out Joe Biden agrees with me. He released this new TV ad yesterday, which is basically just an homage to President Obama and the Obama era:

.

Joe Biden is more than entitled to do this. He wasn’t just some bit player in the Obama administration. He deserves significant credit for the numerous accomplishments of the administration. Considering how many of us miss the Obama era, it’s nice to be reminded of what a real presidency looks like. Joe Biden is one of the very few people who can get away with running an ad like this, because he was in the room where it happened.
