Looks like Donald Trump’s dementia may be destroying his physical health
Donald Trump’s increasingly senile behavior in public is highly consistent with mid stage dementia. He gets the people in his political life confused for each other. He needs a card to read off the names of his immediate family members. We all know the drill by now.
But even as Trump continues to lose his cognitive abilities, what about the physical symptoms of dementia? It’s not just that the mind goes. A person with dementia will sort of stop functioning properly, with behavior such as shuffling around or dragging a leg.
To that end, there is now footage of Donald Trump shuffling around and dragging his leg, and it’s getting a lot of attention. There are other things that can cause shuffling and leg dragging. For instance, someone can simply be in chronic physical pain, which would fit with Trump’s age and obesity.
But when you put Trump’s worsening physical symptoms within the context of his dementia-like cognitive symptoms, there’s strong reason to suspect that it’s all tied together. If so, then Trump’s physical health is likely to spiral downward alongside his cognitive health. There are serious questions to be asked about how much life (or quality of life) an ailing Trump might even have left in him at this point.
