Looks like Donald Trump is alienating the jury

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. As Donald Trump’s criminal trial continues, many are remarking on how bad an image Donald Trump is projecting to the jury. It’s not just that he can’t stay awake. It’s not just that he makes faces and farts. It’s not just that he rants on truth social—it’s about his courtiers in waiting.

These courtiers include Rick Scott, JD Vance, Tommy Tubberville, and Mike Johnson. The long and short of it is that many legal minds are saying that the fact that these devoted and scheming courtiers have attached themselves like limpet biscuits to Donald Trump’s person is being noticed by the jury and not in a good way.

People are also talking about Melania – or the lack thereof. Adding to the unfavorable image of inmate PO1135809, Melania Trump’s absence from the court proceedings is conspicuous. The combination of Trump’s zealous supporters flocking to his side and the lack of spousal support anywhere in court, looks just awful.

Unsurprisingly, Michael Cohen has been on the stand, testifying that Donald Trump was not AT ALL worried about Melania as it related to the Stormy Daniels hush money scheme. All of these things go to character.

The fact is, at trial, the way defendants conduct themselves is significant. It is the one time the jury gets to see the person whose fate they decide in person. It does NOT help that, in this case, said person appears frail, sad, and angry. This demeanor could be interpreted by the jury as a lack of remorse or understanding of the seriousness of the charges.

It does not help that his various leeches in waiting, all of whom hope to be his VP Valentine, are trying to do his dirty work for him. The overall effect is of someone who isn’t taking this seriously. That, my friends, is bad news for Donald John Trump.
