Looks like Donald Trump has had it with Elon Musk already

We’ve all been waiting for Donald Trump, a disloyal malignant narcissist who can’t stand it when his sidekicks get too much attention, and the socially oblivious Elon Musk to end up crashing into each other. Suffice it to say that the partnership from hell is already growing tiresome for at least one of them.

Trump is now letting it be known to his New York Times mouthpiece Maggie Haberman that he’s sick of how clingy Elon Musk is being. Recent photos have shown Musk hanging out at Mar-a-Lago, seemingly attached to Trump’s side at all times, in a way that suggests Musk has even less social awareness than anyone thought. Musk also recently made an inept mess of congressional budget negotiations, prompting dozens of House Republicans to vote against a proposal made by him and Trump.

Even though Trump is clearly getting sick of Musk, it’s worth noting that Trump is merely whining about it to his media pals. Remember, when you’re whining to the media about something in politics, it’s because you lack the power to do anything to change it. This suggests that Trump may indeed be too weak to kick Musk to the curb, either because Trump needs Musk’s money, or because Trump is simply too senile to figure out how to even so much as chase anyone away these days.
