“LONG LIVE THE KING!” – Donald Trump has his most deranged meltdown yet
Donald Trump’s social media meltdowns of late have been growing more unhinged than ever. But now Trump has taken things to a place that’s deranged even for him.
Trump posted this today: “CONGESTION PRICING IS DEAD. Manhattan, and all of New York, is SAVED. LONG LIVE THE KING!”
That’s right, Trump just literally referred to himself as a King. That’s a profoundly unhinged thing for the President of the United States to do, given that 1) this is a democracy, and 2) our democracy was founded by declaring independence from a King.
But let’s remember what this really is: Trump (or whoever might be ghost-posting on his behalf) is trying to portray himself as omnipotently powerful because he keeps getting overturned by the courts. This is Trump’s way of trying to goad us into giving up instead of continuing to fight. Don’t give him what he wants. Continue calling Trump out on his incompetence, senility, and weakness.
