LOCK HIM UP!
If I was Donald Trump’s lawyer (and thank goodness I’m not), I’d be embarrassed to show my face in public around now. That’s because of Todd Blanche’s stunning scolding he received at Donald Trump’s contempt of court hearing.
I’ll make a prediction — The infamous words”You’re losing all credibility” will make their way into many a history book. Already, they’re being discussed endlessly. I do not blame his Honor at ALL. By repeatedly violating the gag order, Donald Trump is putting people’s lives at risk, but when has that ever bothered him before?
Blanche should have quit while he was ahead. Again and again, he tried to defend his wayward client. Again and again, the Judge wasn’t having any bullshit. At one point, Blanche tried to say that Trump is a kind-hearted and devoted family man, causing many on social media to speculate why the whole court did not burst into laughter at THAT one.
But court is a serious business, and everyone was on their best professional behavior—except for one person. That obviously is Donald Trump, who could not stop licking his lips. Over and over, a (lying) tongue darted out licking his orange lips. Trump also watched the court sketch artists with narrowed eyes, perhaps because he did not seem so pleased with how his putrid image was portrayed in the courtroom.
Blanche also tried to tell the Judge how: “FRUSTRATED,” Donald Trump is by what the lawyer called a “two-tiered justice system.” That particular comment caused lots of chatter on Twitter. The bottom line is that there IS a two-tiered justice system, and until recently, Trump was a winning recipient of this system.
The people I feel sorry for are the poor souls who had and have little cash to spend on competent attorneys, the ones who are locked up on petty charges, these women might be locked up if Republicans ever gain control and force a national abortion ban.
Donald Trump has ridden every wave of manipulating the system that’s come his way. He’s lied and he’s dodged, not paying taxes for YEARS, stiffing the hardworking Joe’s of our lands, using women as trophies (when he’s not assaulting them), and in general being a dour and miserable f##k, who has never, in one DAY, displayed any concern for humanity, for the American people. NOBODY deserves prison more than Donald Trump — nobody
