Liz Cheney wants your help

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Liz Cheney is facing a brutal reelection campaign in the state of Wyoming. This is because of her ability to be — well — sane. Many Republicans are mad that she is daring to stand up for the United States constitution and the rule of law. Rep Matt Gaetz and many others have endorsed her opponent and hope to oust her from Congress. But Liz is getting some unexpected help — from Democrats.

Cheney’s campaign has sent instructions to Democrats. These instructions educate Wyoming voters on how to change their party so they can vote in the Republican primary — for Liz.

And reportedly, many Wyoming Democrats are planning to do just that. A Democrat could never win in red Wyoming, and there are plenty of Democrats that want Liz to say in Congress.

Under Wyoming law, one must be registered either as a republican or democrat to vote in the primary — not an independent. If you live in Wyoming, you should think about doing this. It seems incredible that any Republican would turn against Cheney, who is quite conservative.

But such is the new Republican party, which values loyalty to insurrectionists far more than a candidate’s voting record. My feeling is Liz has a good chance. But no matter how this turns out, it is good to see Democrats working to keep her in Congress as she is one of the few sane Republicans we have left.
