Lindsey Graham’s no good very bad horrible day

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

On Friday, I wrote an article called “Three blind mice.” It was about Trump and Lindsey Graham, as well as the South Carolina Governor. They were all on their way to Pickens, South Carolina, for a Trump event. And they had this event. Only things didn’t turn out quite the way at least one of the blind mice had hoped. That one is Lindsey Graham. In an astonishing display of rejection, the people at the Pickens rally — booed Graham off the stage.

Graham didn’t talk for long –only for about five minutes. That didn’t matter. The boos were relentless. “Welcome to Pickens!! Thanks a bunch!” Boos. “Let me tell you how you win an election, folks.” Boos. Catcalls.

“My hope is we can bring this country together ’cause he’s gonna be our nominee.”

Thumbs down. Boos.

“If they win in 2024, they’re gonna pack the Supreme Court.”

Get off the stage, Lindsey, the people of Pickens signaled.

“If they win in 2024, Puerto Rico and D.C. will be states.”
Boos.

“God Bless you all. God bless President Trump.”

Roars of boos and get off the stage. It was the ultimate humiliation for Graham.

At one time, the boos drowned him out so much Graham had to pause for them to quiet!

“Calm down,” a sad graham urged the swelling crowd.

“I was born in this country. I live 15 miles down the road.”

It was ALMOST enough to produce a twinge of sympathy for the sad little mouse.

I said ALMOST.

“How many of you believe donald trump was a great President?”

THAT sure snuffed out any sympathetic twinges!

Graham has, in the past few years, lost much support.

Part of that is due to his position on Putin’s war. Graham, in what might be his ONLY good decision, has continued to advocate for Ukraine.

And Maga views him as a traitor for his speech on January 6. So no, this sunny day in Pickens did not turn out well for Graham. You’d think he’d have learned by now, but I suppose you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
