Lindsey Graham now under criminal investigation by Fulton County District Attorney

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this week, Fulton County Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis publicly confirmed what had already been reported: she’s launched a criminal investigation into Donald Trump’s attempt at overthrowing the results of the 2020 presidential election in Georgia. Now it turns out Trump isn’t the only one in trouble.

Lindsey Graham also called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and tried to pressure him into changing the results of the election. Now the Washington Post is reporting that the Fulton County DA is also investigating Graham’s phone call as part of her criminal probe.

It may be trickier for the DA to get a conviction against Lindsey Graham, because there is no indication that his phone call with Raffensperger was recorded, meaning it’ll come down to the testimony of Raffensperger and any underlings who were on the call. But Graham could end up being put on criminal trial in Georgia for this, which would effectively end his Senate career. Stay tuned.
