Lindsey Graham just made a mistake
Lindsey Graham just revealed that he owns an assault weapon. This is a mistake on his part. That’s the best argument yet for banning assault weapons. No really. The average American can clearly see that Graham is derangedly unstable every time he appears on television. All the people in the middle have to do is picture that lunatic running around with an AR-15, and it’ll convince them to support an assault weapons ban.
– Dr. Deborah Birx is finally saying the kinds of things that she had an ethical obligation to say a year ago. What’s she even trying to do at this point? She had her chance to speak up back when hundreds of thousands of American lives could still have been saved, and she declined to do so, presumably because she was worried about losing her job. She made her choice. Now she should just disappear and hope history forgets her. She’s not going to be able to rewrite her place in the history books into a positive one just by belatedly running her mouth.
– One guy puts a bomb in his shoe, and twenty years later we’re still taking our shoes off at airports. An angry white guy goes on a mass shooting every few weeks, and nothing happens at all. This must change, and it must change soon.
