Lindsey Graham just got destroyed to his face by Jaime Harrison
Lindsey Graham was already behind the eight ball coming into tonight’s debate. He’s tied in the polls with Democratic candidate Jaime Harrison, and Graham’s fundraising is running dry even as Harrison’s campaign continues to gain fundraising momentum.
If any number of undecided or persuadable voters watched tonight’s debate, then Lindsey Graham now has an even bigger problem. Jaime Harrison set the tone for the night when he had a giant plastic shield erected next to his podium, in order to protect him in case Graham caught coronavirus from Donald Trump – a reminder of just how badly the Republicans have botched this pandemic.
As the debate went on, Harrison proved that he’s the real deal when it comes to leadership, smarts, solutions, and empathy. Graham came off as frazzled and in over his head, like an out of practice incumbent who’s never had to run a real reelection campaign and has no idea how to do so.
