Legal expert: Rudy Giuliani is now toast

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Yesterday, court records revealed that Igor Fruman – who long silently remained on Team Trump – has now decided to change his plea to guilty. We took this to mean that Fruman has decided to hurry up and cooperate against Rudy Giuliani, as the Feds appear poised to soon move ahead against Giuliani with or without Fruman’s help.

It turns out we’re not the only ones who see it this way. Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirshner has tweeted that if Fruman is indeed cooperating, then Rudy’s odds of avoiding prison have dropped to zero. Kirschner added that “The ONLY way Rudy saves himself is by flipping on Trump & company.”

We strongly suspect the Feds already have Rudy Giuliani nailed to the wall. Just to convince a judge to sign off on the warrant to raid Rudy’s home and seize his communications, the Feds would have needed to present overwhelming evidence of Rudy’s guilt. But if Igor is indeed flipping, then Rudy’s odds of conviction and prison go from high to near-certain. This is before getting to the unanswered question of whether Lev Parnas, who loudly turned against Trump world a long time ago, is also flipping.
