Legal expert: New York is bringing racketeering charges against Donald Trump and his family

Dear readers, we've just launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our PayPal Page or our GoFundMe Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Do you feel it in the air, friends, and readers? I do. Sometimes when the wind whistles, it tells us things. I feel the wind is telling us — get Ready, Donald. Of course, I could be wrong. But there has been lately a feeling of muted excitement, don’t you agree? There has been a rising sense that SOMETHING — something big is coming.

Racketeering charges? Donald Trump? Will those two things go together? According to Pulitzer Prize-winning Journalist David Cay Johnson they just might. Johnson was speaking with CNN’s John Berman when he made a startling prediction. Trump will be charged with racketeering, according to Johnson.

The two were speaking about Trump’s former accounting firm Mazars. Here is part of what was said by Johnson:

“Well, Donald Bender, the Mazars accountant who prepares Trump’s tax returns, testified before the Manhattan Grand jury and New York as this very unusual law, if you testify before the Grand Jury, you are granted immunity.”

“It does mean that Mazars is helping out the prosecutors put together the, what I expect, will be a racketeering case.”

“A New York state racketeering case against Trump, the Trump organization, Allen Weisselberg, and probably Donald’s three older children,” he said. Of course, this is no guarantee. But it does give one pause. Is something huge about to drop? I’ve no way of knowing for sure. I do hope so. I FEEL that it will. Stay tuned.
