Lawrence O’Donnell just nailed it
Now that the coronavirus is working its way through his White House and knocking on the Oval Office door, Donald Trump finally seems to think that testing is important – though he’s still not really sure if he’s on board with it or not. But Trump is also being tested in other ways.
During his show tonight, Lawrence O’Donnell explained that Donald Trump is now tested for coronavirus every day – and because he’s the President of the United States, he’s also “tested for humanity every day.” He’s also “tested for decency every day.” And he fails every day, because he’s neither decent nor human.
O’Donnell then cut to the instantly famous footage of Donald Trump hurling a racist remark at a White House correspondent, and then trying to tell off another White House correspondent, before they both stood their ground and sent him slinking off the stage.
