Lauren Boebert melts down

At this point it’s as if there’s a race going on to see which brand new House Republican can dig the biggest hole for themselves. Marjorie Taylor Greene has certainly pulled into the lead, thanks to her newly unearthed harassment of school shooting survivors and her apparent calls for violence against U.S. leaders. But no worries, Lauren Boebert is having a pretty bad day all by herself.

Thus far today Boebert has had a Twitter meltdown about President Biden’s pens, and tweeted the racist term “China Virus” while attacking Biden for instructing federal agencies not to use it. She also insisted that Biden’s climate change reforms will somehow hurt the environment. Then Boebert announced that House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy had appointed her to the Natural Resources Committee.

When Republicans send people to Congress, they’re not sending their best. In fact, these days Republican voters are scrounging up the absolute bottom of the barrel worst people they can find, and sending them to Congress. Boebert isn’t fit to so much as be inside the Capitol building on a visitor pass, let alone serve in Congress. She must be expelled.
