Last one out the door, turn out the lights
“Hostages.” That is the word Donald Trump’s been using about the January Sixth terrorists. It’s just the type of thing to draw in the moderate middle! Hostages. In Ohio this week, Trump asked people to rise for the “horribly and unfairly treated January 6 hostages.”
How awful. I do feel for families of REAL hostages in Israel and in many other places, such as Russia. This is not the first time Trump has called them “hostages,” and it will not be the last. It can’t be because, you see, only a monster would ever SAY anything like that, and Trump is indeed a monster — a useless and failing one but a monster nonetheless.
Donald Trump is a sea monster created by evil forces, who, having risen from the tides in anger and wrath, now feels the weight of futility rippling off of him, so he wishes to lure EVERYONE into the rapids, pulling them down into the watery cave in which he lives.
It isn’t working. Republicans are said to be panicking because of a new problem they’ve identified. The problem is — nobody wants to be associated with them.
“The number of Americans who identify as Republicans has never been lower in HISTORY.” Who do YOU think said that? Rachel Maddow, perhaps? A Democratic ad? Nope. The panicked National Republican Senatorial Committee said it — I kid you not. It’s in a new ad as they plead for money and for votes.
“This is dire!” Well, Are you surprised? Who would want to be associated with these strange and unappealing people?
It’s no wonder their membership has dipped so low. That’s what happens when you appoint a failed wanna-be dictator as your leader, whom everybody detests. Shit happens. Republicans are now in the thankless position of having as their leader:
A senile, insincere, con man.
AND:
A man with over ninety indictments against him.
AND:
A sexual harasser and a BROKE one at that.
AND:
A monster who calls American terrorists, “hostages.” No wonder their desperation is inking out of them. They’re losing money! They’re losing voters! And they are going to lose this election.
