LAST CHANCE

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There are so many holidays in America. And they are each unique. I am proposing a new one — at least until next week. This holiday is just for Democrats or independents who live for activism. It is called “National Terry day.”

Terry McAuliffe needs to win the Virginia Governor’s race next week. If he does not, all of our lives will change dramatically and not for the better.

So let me explain what ‘National Terry Day” is all about. Pick a day that you do not have much going on. It would have to be before or on November 2. Once that date is picked, put aside a few hours. And take those hours to work in this Virginia race in whatever way you want.

I would like to see Twitter SATURATED with “vote for Terry tweets.” If you are on Twitter, can you commit to tweeting out a “vote for Terry” tweet every hour on the “National Terry day?”

Signs. I fully recognize that the state of Virginia does have some rules in regards to signs. But if you live in the area — it is crucial to get some posters and fliers out.

Do you know Virginia Beach is SATURATED with Glen Youngkin signs? Their campaign is also honing in on Norfolk. Any Virginian reading this is in a very powerful position now as far as activism goes. You have the ability to make so many people aware of this race. You have the ability to possibly change its outcome.

So, pick your “National Terry Day” and do whatever type of activism comes the most naturally to you.

If you are on Twitter, you can seek out undecided voters in Virginia. Just type:
“Virginia” + “Governor” + “undecided.”

Perhaps phone banking or postcards are more your things. My point is — we need all the help we can get because it’s close.

And Younkin is now talking about banning certain books from libraries. Please understand that if this guy Youngkin wins, it may also hurt us in the midterms because many Democrats nationwide will be demoralized. And to everyone reading this: make the Virginia race your NUMBER ONE PRIORITY politically for the next week. Please! Pick a “National Terry day,” and let’s rock!
