Kyrsten Sinema gets desperate as her reelection bid falls apart

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s still very early. But three way polling in the 2024 Senate race in Arizona shows Democratic candidate Ruben Gallego narrowly in first place, the yet to be determined Republican candidate in second place, and incumbent Senator Kyrsten Sinema in a distant third place.

That’s not surprising given that Sinema has become so openly corrupt and bizarrely aloof, she’s alienated pretty much everybody. When it comes to 2024, she can’t even rack up the hordes of small dollar donations that tend to propel Democratic candidates to victory these days.

Then again, Sinema is no longer a registered Democrat anyway. So it turns out she’s trying to make up for her lack of legitimate fundraising by turning to the same kind of legal-but-dirty money that now seems to define her every move in the Senate. Sinema now has six figure donations coming in from investment firm employees, and anywhere else she can take a buck. For third place Sinema, this just reeks of desperation. Of course even that kind of money isn’t translating to voters, if polls are any indication.

Meanwhile Democratic candidate Ruben Gallego has announced that “Our top donor occupation was a school teacher.” Speaking of which, you can donate to Gallego’s 2024 campaign here.
