Donald Trump’s stooge Kris Kobach just lost his election bid in humiliating fashion

Kris Kobach is one of those Republicans who just keeps hanging around Donald Trump in the hope something good will come of it, but it never does – both because Trump isn’t loyal enough to help Kobach out, and because Kobach is too much of an idiot to make anything happen.

For instance, Kris Kobach ran for Governor of Kansas in 2018, and he screwed it up so badly, Kansas now has a Democratic Governor. Kobach’s latest at Trumpian politics was a bid for the U.S. Senate seat that’s opening up in Kansas. But Kobach being Kobach, he found a way to lose to his Republican challenger, meaning Kobach is officially out of the race.

Before you get too excited, this isn’t necessarily good news for the Democrats. Kobach is such a disaster that if he had gotten the Republican nomination, the Democrats probably would have had an easier time of winning the Senate seat. In any case, thanks to Donald Trump’s worsening unpopularity, Democratic candidate Dr. Barbara Bollier does have a fighting chance in November. You can support her campaign here.
