Kiss my backside…
Mike Johnson is now publicly threatening to withhold federal disaster aid for the Los Angeles fires on political grounds. Donald Trump is gleefully posting images of Los Angeles on fire with the Hollywood sign defaced to read his name. And Elon Musk is sticking his nose so deep into California politics, it’s a wonder he can breathe.
These people can kiss my backside. They’re not helping anything. All they’re doing is forcing people like me to fight against their harmful disinformation, even as I keep one eye focused on evacuation maps. Los Angeles doesn’t have time for this. America doesn’t have time for this.
Yet this kind of assholery is going to be the new norm for the next four years. These unhinged slimeballs are inexplicably about to be in charge again. They don’t even have any pretense of acting like humans. Let’s not let them get away with it. Let’s fight with everything we’ve got, so that this new norm never does become normal.
