The October surprises, big and small, continue to surface – and none of them are looking good for Donald Trump. The latest one involves Donald Trump Jr’s girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle, who made a curious transition from Fox News personality to Trump 2020 campaign adviser.
There were always questions about why Fox News parted ways with Kimberly Guilfoyle, considering Fox generally has very little standards when it comes to personnel. Hosts and commentators almost never get fired simply for being terrible; it always has to be something more. For instance, Bill O’Reilly was forced out after his pattern of sexual harassment became public knowledge, and became too much of a distraction for the network.
Now it turns out Guilfoyle was accused of sexually harassing a female subordinate at Fox News, resulting in a multimillion dollar confidential payout to the subordinate, and the ousting of Guilfoyle. This is all according to a lengthy new expose from the New Yorker tonight.
Donald Trump Jr and Kimberly Guilfoyle have been engaging in increasingly disturbing behavior in public over the past several weeks, including Kimberly screaming her way through an unhinged Republican National Convention speech, and Don Jr behaving so erratically that plenty of social media observers have asked if he’s on drugs. With this new scandal surfacing, you have to wonder if their behavior will become even more unhinged.
