David Pecker – Jeff Bezos blackmail scandal has a key detail that ties it all right back to Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,

This evening, Amazon boss Jeff Bezos revealed that Donald Trump’s longtime close ally, National Enquirer boss David Pecker, has been trying to blackmail him. Based on our initial reading of Bezos’ expose, it was immediately clear that Trump and Pecker were in on it together. Our big question was how Trump managed to get Pecker to resume doing his criminal bidding, after Pecker already sold Trump out on other crimes and received immunity for it. Then we caught onto one detail in particular.

During his lengthy article on Medium tonight, Jeff Bezos made a point of emphasizing a particular detail about David Pecker. See if you can spot the one thing that keeps popping out in what Bezos wrote:

“Mr. Pecker and his company have also been investigated for various actions they’ve taken on behalf of the Saudi Government … After Mr. Trump became president, he rewarded Mr. Pecker’s loyalty with a White House dinner to which the media executive brought a guest with important ties to the royals in Saudi Arabia … Several days ago, an AMI leader advised us that Mr. Pecker is “apoplectic” about our investigation. For reasons still to be better understood, the Saudi angle seems to hit a particularly sensitive nerve.”

This is, incredibly, about Saudi Arabia. We all know that Donald Trump – who is mired in massive personal debt – is indirectly on Saudi Arabia’s payroll. It’s why his first overseas visit was to Saudi Arabia. It’s why he cooked up the huge arms package with Saudi Arabia. It’s why he sided with the murderous Saudi Crown Prince. It’s why Trump has the U.S. military doing Saudi Arabia’s brutal bidding in Yemen.

David Pecker is also in deep financial trouble due to the ongoing downturn in the print media market. Pecker is also a career criminal, so it would follow that he’s been trying to get illicit funding from somewhere. Jeff Bezos is making a compelling argument that Pecker is every bit as much of a financial puppet of Saudi Arabia as Donald Trump is.

If this is true, it would mean that Donald Trump is in a position to blackmail David Pecker over the Saudi Arabia thing. It would explain how Trump managed to convince Pecker to risk going to prison by targeting Trump’s mortal enemy Bezos, even though Pecker was holding a golden immunity ticket. Here’s the kicker: this would also mean that Pecker has Trump’s Saudi Arabia dirt. Now that Pecker’s life is all but over, if he cuts a new plea deal, he can completely give up Trump this time.
