Here’s the key to blowing the lid off Donald Trump’s whistleblower scandal

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Palmer Report has been covering the fake scandal with Joe Biden and Ukraine and Donald Trump’s involvement in manufacturing it. To date, not one person in the GOP (other than a typically meek Mitt Romney) has questioned Trump and his conduct on this matter, and that is not likely to change.

On Sunday, Trump acknowledged he spoke with the president of Ukraine, stating that it was mostly a congratulatory call and that they did discuss “largely the fact that we don’t want our people like VP Biden and his son creating to the corruption already in the Ukraine.” Because the transcript has not been released, and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on ABC on Sunday said he has no knowledge of the whistleblower report, we don’t know what Trump actually said when he called, or what promises or threats were made.

What is not clear to date is why there is an additional $140 million on the way to the Ukraine, in addition to the $250 million that had been authorized but long withheld by Trump. When the authorized funds were released, Trump made no mention at all of the additional funds released. We have no idea why he sent additional funds or what it represents.

In addition, Congress alone has the power and ability to budget and approve how we spend our dollars. Congress was not involved in this mysterious additional $140 million. Until we have more facts, the circumstances and facts sure look suspicious and must be investigated by the Democrats in the House, because we know for certain Moscow Mitch and other Republicans in the Senate have no interest in ferreting out any wrongdoing by the current administration.
