Kevin McCarthy swings and misses
Kevin McCarthy (Trump’s plaything) has been on Twitter more lately. Perhaps that is due to the fact that he’s lost complete control of his caucus and does not want to say the wrong thing and possibly anger the REAL insurrectionist leaders — Greene and Boebert.
But Kevin did post the following little morsel, which I felt was worthy of an article because what he tweeted was ridiculous:
“Where are the jobs?”
“There are about four million missing jobs — jobs that never recovered from the pandemic — in Democrat-run states.”
Okay. Let’s talk about this moronic tweet. Jobless claims are at a 52-year low. Perhaps Kevin does not know this. Perhaps he ignores the news. Maybe he doesn’t read Palmer Report. But believe me, the economy has improved under the leadership of President Biden.
Now let’s address this “Blue state” thing. I am a bit of a Geography nerd, and I follow the progress of all 50 states. Do you know who the poorest states are? Allow me, if you will to list them: Mississippi. Alabama. West Virginia. Kentucky. Arkansas. Georgia. South Carolina.
Do you see a pattern here? All of them are red states. Well — except Georgia, which only recently became purple. But I would advise Kevin not to get started on the blue and red thing because all it does is show he doesn’t know his geography.
