Kevin McCarthy just said something so ignorant he should be expelled for it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy is one of the people who refused to certify the Electoral College results, meaning he’s partly to blame for the domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Now McCarthy says that “everybody across the country” is to blame for the January 6th terrorist attack. That’s funny, I don’t remember a single Democratic politician inciting the attack, or a single Democratic activist storming the Capitol.

Kevin McCarthy should be expelled, or at least lose his House leadership position. No, Pelosi and the Democrats can’t take it away from him. But the Republicans should. If the GOP doesn’t run its insurrectionists out of the party, there may be nothing left of the party before long. Terrorist sympathizers rarely win U.S. elections.
