Kevin McCarthy is in wildly over his head

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

GOP wanna-be-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has announced that if Republicans win back the House, Adam Schiff will be booted from the House Intelligence Committee. McCarthy’s reasoning is as warped as his non-soul. He has declared, “you cannot make this committee political.”

It’s vitally important to remember that with McCarthy, nothing matters to him — nothing — except gaining the approval of assolini. This is the only goal he really has. Kevin McCarthy must surely have heard the rumors — whispers — soft ones but real ones nonetheless — and those whispers are that if the GOP does, in fact, win (which they will not), McCarthy is the last person anybody would want as Speaker.

So Kevin has to look tough. Only he doesn’t. He looks like a fool — running around trying to appease the Greene and Boeberts of the world, all but wearing a sign around his spineless neck. That sign is a plea. It says: “Pick me. Pick me!”

This is why McCarthy is bringing this up now. He has to nab his beloved Speakership. Only he won’t. We have to win the Midterms. We have to — need to — take it ALL and effectively cancel the GOP with a resounding thud.

Then can we begin to build on what we have already done. There is so much — so very much — just waiting to blossom. And we are so close to getting it ALL. So let Kevin continue to wail. When it comes right down to it, McCarthy is nothing but a bought and paid-for nothing — a Manchurian candidate, guided by his Prison Guard, Donald Trump.
