Kevin McCarthy is getting eaten alive

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Trust is something that’s built up over a period of time. It’s delicate, and it’s fragile, and when it is broken — like a branch on a tree, it can snap and disappear, never again to be whole.

And it appears that is precisely what is happening in the sad little world of Kevin McCarthy. The trust he’d built up – likely minuscule to begin with — has snapped. And many in Maga-world are letting him know that.

Traitor Steve Bannon appeared furious and likened Kevin to “Brutus taking out Julius Caesar.”

Newsmax Host Greg Kelly lashed out at Kevin furiously, calling him a “swamp snake” and saying he’d never really trusted him 100 percent anyway. He also said this, which pretty much sums up the general mood: “In a moment of crisis, he wet his pants.”

High-haired Congressman Matt Gaetz appeared peeved as well, accusing Kevin of “defending Liz Cheney.” McCarthy is also under fire from Maga-world, many of whom have labeled him a traitor. And many a Trump fan are also infuriated at Moscow Mitch, insisting that all candidates running for the Senate or House take a position on whether they are in favor of ousting McCarthy and Moscow Mitch.

Isn’t it glorious watching them eat their own? And there are many a tape left to drop. Who knows what could possibly be on them? I have the feeling this is but the tip of the iceberg. As I said at the beginning of this article, trust is a big thing in Maga-world.

Since they’re a cult, few are allowed their own voices. Betrayal stings hard for the people in this dystopian universe, and they do not forgive easily OR forget. And now, it appears the cult has just split in half.
