Kevin McCarthy has been stunned into silence
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy seems to be betting all his chips on the premise that he can make the Democrats fail, by trying to sabotage them at every turn. Not only is this inappropriate on McCarthy’s part, it’s also turning out to be a bad bet.
Under the leadership of President Joe Biden, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and the Democrats, the U.S. economy has rebounded in stunningly swift fashion, complete with robust job growth. This news has left Kevin McCarthy stunned silent:

This comes after Kevin McCarthy tried to put conspiracy theorists Jim Jordan and Jim Banks on the January 6th Committee, only to end up revoking all of his picks. Now the committee, complete with several Democrats along with Republicans Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, is doing honest work. McCarthy wouldn’t know what that is.
