Donald Trump now wants to take Kevin McCarthy down with him

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Earlier today the Washington Post reported that Donald Trump is now seeking revenge against the House Republicans who voted to impeach him. Now the New York Times is reporting that Trump’s wrath has extended to House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, who voted not to impeach, but dared to use his impeachment hearing speech to lightly criticize Trump.

In other words, Trump is so bent on getting revenge for his downfall, he’s even seeking revenge against McCarthy, who has long been one of his most loyal stooges. This is fine with us. McCarthy is completely unsuitable as House Minority Leader. At this point we’d rather see Liz Cheney, who is also awful but at least voted for impeachment, take the title instead.

In fact we’re left to wonder if such a blatantly pro-Trump stooge like Kevin McCarthy is going to survive in Congress at all. He comes from a Republican-leaning district, but we won’t be surprised if he faces a 2022 primary challenge from an anti-Trump Republican candidate. For all we know McCarthy could end up being forced out amid scandal before that. Numerous Trump scandals are about to surface the minute he’s out of office, we’d wager that McCarthy is caught up in a whole lot of them.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
