Kellyanne Conway goes completely berserk

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When things go particularly wrong for Donald Trump, he tends to rely on the strategy of sending human lie machine Kellyanne Conway on television in the hope of leaving everyone confused and worn down. The trouble this time around is that Kellyanne herself is now too confused figure out what her own talking points are supposed to be.

When Kellyanne Conway appeared on CNN State of the Union this morning, she was asked if Donald Trump withheld military aid from Ukraine to try to force the nation to smear the Bidens. Kellyanne’s response: “I don’t know.” Wait, what? We’re not sure if the Trump White House talking points this week are supposed to be that Trump did or didn’t do it, but we’re pretty sure “I don’t know” isn’t an effective talking point.

Instead it’s an acknowledgment that Trump sent a surrogate on television who either doesn’t know what happened, or doesn’t know what she’s supposed to say about what happened. Elsewhere in the interview, Kellyanne also asserted that Joe Biden and Donald Trump are not political rivals.

Shame on CNN for booking a pathological liar like Kellyanne Conway this morning, knowing full well that she crams in so many lies per minute, they wouldn’t be able to call out more than a fraction of her lies. But at least Kellyanne did us all the favor of self destructing this morning.
