Donald Trump’s stooge Kayleigh McEnany just completely humiliated herself

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump has heard in the last few days about how tone deaf and out of touch he is when it comes to “law and order” and race relationships in this nation. Over the weekend, Senator Mitt Romney marched in Washington, D.C., with the Black Lives Matter protesters. Our fuhrer does not like dissention and desertion and, despite the photos of the intimate dinner when Trump was beginning his presidency, Trump is not a fan of Romney.

Turns out Romney, despite often earning the nickname “milquetoast,” actually does on occasion rise to the occasion and disagree with Trump. Today, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany came back with what she thought must have been a full diss of Romney, stating “Mitt Romney can say three words outside on Pennsylvania Avenue but I would note this – that President Trump won 8% of the black vote.”

Eight percent, as if that is a big deal. Biden is leading Trump among black voters 81% to 3% in the latest Quinnipiac poll. So it’s not even 8% at this point. Nobody has any idea why a press secretary or anyone would brag about 8% of any constituency. It shows that you did not resonate with that group, plain and simple.

Sure, Mitt Romney only got 2% of the black vote in 2012. But at this point Romney would likely get far more black votes than Trump. Given Trump’s handling of the George Floyd matter, the most recent polls are not surprising. Rhetoric and racism will not heal a nation hurting from George Floyd’s murder.
