Katie Porter comes out swinging
Even as Donald Trump continues to try to spin the coronavirus crisis as somehow improving, leaked White House internal numbers on Monday revealed that even the Trump regime expects the daily death toll to be twice as bad by June as it is now. Trump could have put a big dent in this mess if he’d invoked the Defense Production Act across the board early on, but Trump loudly refused to do so.
Now Democratic Congresswoman Katie Porter is going directly at Donald Trump over this:
