Karl Rove is right for once

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Prominent Republican political consultant, policy advisor, and Fox News talking head Karl Rove has strongly criticized Donald Trump’s support of the January 6 insurrectionists.

Trump has publicly stated repeatedly that he will pardon the Capitol mob members he calls “hostages”if elected President.

This has been angrily denounced by Rove in a public speech recorded on a video just released by the Lincoln Project. Rove referred to the insurrectionists not as hostages, but “thugs.“

Rove said, “what those people did, when they violently attacked the Capitol in order to stop a constitutionally mandated meeting of the Congress to accept the results of the Electoral College was a stain on our history, and every one of those sons of bitches who did that we ought to find them, try them, and send them to jail.”

Rove appeared to be calling on all Republicans to strongly denounce Trump’s support of the insurrectionist criminals. For once, I agree with Rove.
