Kanye West’s “presidential campaign” debacle just got even worse for him

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Last night Palmer Report pointed out that Kanye West is clearly not well, as evidenced by his South Carolina “campaign rally” which consisted of insulting Harriet Tubman, using the F-word, and crying a lot. The people in his life who care about him should have gotten him off the political stage by now. Today it’s gotten even worse for him.

Today was the deadline for Kanye West to deliver the ten thousand petition signatures required to get him on the ballot in South Carolina. According to the local Post and Courier newspaper, Kanye came up ten thousand signatures short. That’s right, he didn’t deliver a single signature, and the state has confirmed that no extension or exception will be granted.

In other words, Kanye West just held a campaign rally in a state where he’s not even going to be on the ballot. This whole thing is a joke – and not the funny kind. We hope Kanye gets the professional help he appears to need. And considering the stakes involved, we hope he gets off the political stage sooner rather than later. Now let’s get to work on voter registration and voter turnout for Joe Biden.
