Kamala Harris wins VP debate as Mike Pence humiliates himself and makes a mess for Donald Trump
Tonight’s VP debate went ahead and wrote this upcoming weekend’s SNL sketch all by itself, when Mike Pence spent the entire time running his mouth and breaking all the rules, and the moderator inexplicably kept lecturing Kamala Harris for trying to get a word in edgewise.
Whatever possessed Mike Pence to behave like this tonight, it’s certainly backfired on him. No one wanted to watch Pence spend the entire debate behaving like a rude creep, meaning Pence basically forfeited the debate, just as Donald Trump forfeited last week’s presidential debate.
So now what? The Trump-Pence campaign was ten points behind Joe Biden in the polling averages coming into tonight, and needed a decisive debate win from Mike Pence. Instead Pence humiliated himself and ensured that Trump’s poll numbers will remain bad or get even worse.
This debate debacle is the last thing Trump and Pence needed. Despite the ugly muddied waters, Kamala Harris emerged as the clear winner, and it wasn’t close. America is tired of this nonsense, but Kamala and Joe Biden had a good night.
