Kamala Harris slam dunks Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Just two days after announcing her 2020 presidential campaign, Democratic Senator Kamala Harris appeared on the Rachel Maddow show on Wednesday night for a lengthy and wide ranging interview. Harris laid out various aspects of her own personal and professional history – and she took square aim at current illegitimate president Donald Trump.

Kamala Harris went through her political career, which spanned from District Attorney, to Attorney General of California, to now United States Senator. She explained how she dealt with a corrupt lab technician, and why she refused to seek the death penalty in a controversial case when she was a prosecutor. But the aspect of the interview that’s likely to get the most attention was when she turned her attention to Donald Trump.

Senator Harris laid into Donald Trump over his endless government shutdown, and pointed out that Trump couldn’t care less about the well being of the nearly one million federal employees who are now working without paychecks. She suggested that he “open up Trump Tower and let everybody live in there rent-free.”

Even as Kamala Harris went hard after Donald Trump, she showed no interest in going after any of her Democratic opponents who have entered the 2020 race for president. She stated that she has a “great deal of respect” for her fellow Democrats in the Senate who are running against her.
