The real reason Kamala Harris just endorsed Joe Biden

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

On Friday night, it was reported that Joe Biden skipped out on a fundraising event because he was putting together a major endorsement. Since that time, no information has surfaced about the identity of the endorser. But just a couple minutes ago, Biden did indeed receive a major endorsement – from Senator Kamala Harris.

Kamala Harris posted this video to Twitter, announcing her endorsement of Joe Biden:

Joe Biden then responded with this: “Kamala — You’ve spent your whole career fighting for folks who’ve been written off and left behind — and no small part of that alongside Beau. From our family: thank you.”

This of course raises the question of what’s going on here. Why now, on a Sunday morning? It all suggests that the endorsement is being rolled out sooner than originally planned. Several key states are voting in the Democratic primary race this Tuesday, so perhaps this is an attempt at opening up an insurmountable primary lead. Harris says in the video that she and Biden are doing an event in Michigan on Monday, so there you have it.
