Kamala Harris comes out swinging

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Kamala Harris has been Joe Biden’s running mate for barely two days, and we’re already seeing Donald Trump and his allies desperately flailing to try to figure out how to attack, undermine, and smear her. Their conflicting and ineffective lines of attack make clear that they’re not even sure how to hit her. Meanwhile she’s coming out swinging.

Kamala Harris took it directly to Donald Trump and Mike Pence, tweeting this takedown: “Just look where Donald Trump and Mike Pence got us: more than 16 million out of work. Millions of kids who cannot go back to school. More than 165,000 lives have been cut short by coronavirus, many with loved ones who never got the chance to say goodbye. This was preventable.”

Kamala Harris added this: “When other countries were following the science, Trump pushed miracle cures he saw on Fox News. Let me tell you this: when Joe Biden is president he’ll listen to the facts. He’ll embrace science. And we will all be better for it.”

Joe Biden tweeted this: “I first met Kamala Harris through my son Beau. They grew close while fighting to take on the big banks — and he had enormous respect for her and her work. There is no one’s opinion I valued more than Beau’s, and I’m proud to have Kamala standing with me on this campaign.”
