Donald Trump is running scared. More like lumbering. Or more like wandering around confused in the hope of trying to figure out what just happened to him. Trump is in a straight up panic now that he’s running against VP Kamala Harris.

Trump keeps making flimsy excuses for why he doesn’t want to have to debate Kamala Harris. But we all know the real reason: Trump is old and slow and has lost a step and he knows that Harris will run circles around him.

The Kamala Harris campaign posted this today: “Donald Trump needs to man up. He’s got no problem spreading lies and hateful garbage at his rallies or in interviews with right-wing commentators. But he’s apparently too scared to do it standing across the stage from the Vice President of the United States. Since he talks the talk, he should walk the walk and – as Vice President Harris said earlier this week – say it to her face on September 10. She’ll be there waiting to see if he’ll show up.”

It’ll be interesting to see what Trump ends up doing. It’s a no win situation for him either way. But if he falls behind Harris in the national polling averages by a few points, he’ll likely have no choice but to roll the dice and try debating her. Trump can talk big all he wants. But he doesn’t have the leverage here at all.
